SUPERCHINK

Chinking is important for any log home. It is a flexible material that fills the gaps between the logs and provides protection and insulation from the elements.

Superchink is a pure acrylic, elastic compound that stays elastic. Superchink stretches and contracts as the logs settle and move seasonally thereby minimizing the chances of premature cracking, peeling or pulling away from properly prepared logs. Superchink can also be used to fill gaps and plug holes as a flexible filler or as a tile adhesive for flexible surfaces.
Superchink can be applied with a spatula, scraper or caulking gun. Always keep the application tool moist to prevent sticking.
Superchink is a water based product, so cleaning the tools is very simple.
